Over four immersive days, you’ll explore powerful Qur’anic themes, divine oaths, and timeless character-building lessons—guided by respected scholars and faculty from across the GTA.
Set in a serene, natural environment, this retreat is more than just study—it’s a journey of reflection, connection, and transformation. Together, we’ll engage with verses of the Qur’an, uncovering their relevance to our lives while grounding ourselves in the beauty of nature and purpose.

Guided Astronomy
Experience the awe of the night sky in a guided astronomy session by @AstroMuslim. Attendees will observe celestial objects through telescopes and learn how to navigate the stars using starcharts provided. It’s a hands-on journey of reflection, discovery, and connecting with the cosmos through an Islamic lens.

Group Hiking
Embark on a guided hike through the scenic escarpment hills. Along the trail, attendees will learn the basics of compass use and directional navigation while pausing to reflect on selected Qur’anic ayahs that speak to the signs of Allah in creation. This immersive experience invites participants to connect with the natural world in a spiritually mindful and purposeful way.

Sports Activities
After a day of enriching classes and reflection, evenings at the retreat will be reserved for leisure and sports activities open to both brothers and sisters. Whether it's a friendly game, a nature walk, or simply relaxing in good company, these moments are designed to foster connection, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the retreat setting in a balanced and rejuvenating way.

Night Campfire
Gather around the campfire circle for an intimate and reflective evening under the stars. Participants will share personal insights, Qur’anic reflections, and heartfelt advice drawn from life’s experiences, creating a warm space for connection, inspiration, and spiritual growth. It’s a chance to unwind, listen, and reflect together in the light of the Qur’an and companionship.

In this spiritually uplifting series, Shaykh Sohaib Zuberi will guide participants through a selection of powerful supplications found in the Qur’an. Focusing on approximately ten deeply meaningful duas, these sessions will explore the context, language, and spiritual wisdom behind each prayer. From the heartfelt pleas of the Prophets to timeless invocations for guidance, forgiveness, and gratitude, this series offers a profound opportunity to connect with the Qur’an on a personal and emotional level. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of how to internalize these duas and incorporate them into their daily lives.

Mansfield Outdoor Centre
Immerse yourself in a serene and peaceful environment at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre. Located near the Hockley Valley, the centre offers a serene space with over 22 acres of land to hike, meditate and relax on. You will be surrounded by hills and valleys, amongst numerous different types of trees. The meal plan includes healthy and organic meals that are sure to make your stay a pleasant one. The centre offers clear skies, away from light pollution, allowing for a jaw-dropping view of the cosmos.The property also runs the Pine river, perfect for swimming or relaxing on its banks.
