Producing Islamic scholars is a communal obligation for every Muslim community. The Mathabah Institute provides a platform for this obligation to be fulfilled, but
not in a conventional fashion. Students of the Scholar of Islamic Sciences certification program are not just trained to have a command on the classical texts of Islam,
but they are also prepared to understand how to apply Islam correctly in their social context. They are prepared to confront the socio-religious challenges of their era,
and provide practical, concrete solutions for them. They are the answer to a call that has been made by the community for a prolonged period of time.

The Islamic Community Leader Certification program delivers
all the skills a person requires to lead a Muslim community that
does not have full-time access to a qualified scholar. It equips
students with the knowledge and training needed to handle
the most common issues a small community would want
assistance in, thus helping them carry out their religious
practices in an informed and correct manner.
Become an adept reciter of the Quran
The focus of this program is to help students recite the Qur’an with
accuracy and precision. Whether a student is a beginner or at an
advanced level, they will see a dramatic improvement in their reading
skills within a short span of time. This improvement will allow them
to gain confidence in pursuing the field of Qur’anic recitation full time,
and in becoming qualified Qārīs.
