Poem by Sarosh Mohna Zaidi of Mississauga, Ontario
The heart of sins cries out in agony
For all the sins its fed reduce with time.
The Satan cries, “oh fool, come here to me”
But they stand firm against the wall of crime.
Yet they’re the ones who face torment and pain;
Disliked they are by those that stand around.
For Allah they will fight the night again
And they would pray with forehead to the ground.
To these believers, Allah sends them peace
For they adhere to Allah’s every call.
Through all despair their faith would just increase
As if there had been no despair at all.
And when the day of truth becomes the true
Allah will say to them, “I’m pleased with you.”
