In Persuit of Moral Perfection with Imam Bukhari

Shaykh Yusuf Badat to teach at the following event:

A weekend study of Imam Bukhai’s monumental collection of Hadith on morals and manners (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad). This book is absolutely indispensible for the seeker of moral perfection, covering many different aspects of one’s personal and social life. The study will include:

• How far one must go in carrying out the rights of parents and elders, for example:

“Zaid believes his parents are unreasonable. They continuously object over many of his Islamic practices, and have made life difficult for him. Zaid wonders how far he must go to continue pleasing his parents?”

Venue
The program will be held in a classroom setting for both brothers and sisters at the Pickering Islamic Centre located at 2065 Brock Road N in Pickering, Ontario. Space is limited.

Schedule
General timings for the workshop are as follows:

• Saturday October 31st, 2009, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Sunday November 1st, 2009, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Lunch on both days will be served at 1:00pm (provided by Affy’s Grill)

Babysitting
Due to many requests, babysitting services have been arranged on site for the duration of the program. The total cost for both days is $15 for the first child, and $5 for each additional child (payment to be made on site).
